Automatic Liquid Sodium Silicate Production Plant with PLC Control
Product Description
Put liquid caustic soda into slurry preparator after weighing and start mixing. Then put quartz sand into slurry preparatorafter weighing. The liquid and solid two phase materials are stirred to a balanced suspension.
Use sand pump send mixture to reaction kettle, add steam until reach setting pressure then stop adding. The whole process is exothermic reaction, and the modulus of the material can be sampled at the time reaction stopped, if the modulus is not qualified, keep reacting to the desired modulus. Discharge steam first, use the residual pressure to discharge the material into the middle tank. Use steam to heat liquid caustic soda and materials in batching tank, heat can be fully used, save the energy.
Add water into middle tank in proportion to reach needed concentration, precipitate based on setting time.
The clarified liquid is fully settled through the thick liquid pump to press filter, to obtain the sodium silicate, then use the pump transfer to the finished product storage tank.
Precipitate in the middle tank will self flow back to batching tank.
Filtered slag washing with clean water several times to neutral PH, collect together and send to solid waste treatment center or make bricks.The amount of slag is small, to produce one ton liquid sodium silicate will make about 2~3kg slag. The cleaning water will bake to batching section.
